GROUP CLASS - Client Exclusive Class
Group classes are a fantastic way to properly socialize your dog and promote good habits while working outside. These classes are designed to aid in your training journey by giving you an opportunity to train in a safe and prosperous environment around other dogs and handlers in training. Our group classes encompass structured neutral group walks, urban agility, obedience, settle time and more! Classes encourage questions/answers, no matter how silly the questions may be! This is a light hearted, non judgemental group dynamic and you are encouraged to go at your own pace. All dogs and handlers are at different levels, classes are not set up to allow dog greetings in order to keep the environment as neutral as possible. Classes follow all leash laws. No member will be left behind, if you need a potty break(ect) we will wait and move on as a group! Group classes are only offered to those who have started a training program with us or dogs who have had a behavioral assessment with us and are approved for group activity.
Group classes are $20 per dog and are run in small groups for 1 hour sessions. Classes are done outside and are weather permitting. Classes are currently being rotated between Santa Cruz, Capitola, Soquel, Watsonville and Aptos to provide more accessibility to clients who want to paticipate and to work in different environments. We frequent locations such as West Cliff, Santa Cruz Harbor, Aptos Village, Capitola Village Downtown Santa Cruz Markets and local parks with plenty of opportunities for agility and real life distractions.
